Role Description

• We are looking for a Junior Test Automation Engineer who is eager to learn and grow in automation testing. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium with Python and JavaScript. You will work closely with QA leads and developers to ensure product quality across web applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
• Execute automation test suites and analyze results
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Support regression, smoke, and functional testing activities
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and test scenarios
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation stability
• Assist in maintaining test frameworks and test data

Preferred Skills

• Basic to good knowledge of Test Automation concepts
• Hands-on experience or strong understanding of:
  • Playwright
  • Selenium
• Programming knowledge in:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
• Understanding of web application testing fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git or any version control system
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Exposure to CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of API testing basics
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum processes
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira
